Is Ilayaraja the most prolific composer of all time?

If you look at the sheer volume of music-
almst 800 movies,the songs,extensive bgms,sheer variety including classical, western classical,fusion,devotional,folk the music the man has composed must run into thousands of hours.
I wonder if IR could be the most prolific composer of all times-and that includes musicians from all ages (past and present) and both east and west

Apparently he IS, at least in this century:-) For comparison on this count, one may have to dig into history...nay...archeology:-) That may show light on this `ever' & `all time' business...
